Session 14 - August 10, 2016: Smooth and steady win the race

Using a palm orbital sander, we sanded each piece to remove “scarves” or crescent marks in the wood left by the the saw, pencil lines, and scratches; stacking multiple pieces together also helped to create a wider sanding surface. Given the number of boards and surfaces, sanding became a meditative process (listening to podcasts using sound cancelling headphones).
